- Religious groups (ie. Muslims, Christians, Jewish) and ordinary citizens are often deprived of human rights, and consequently live in dire, unpredictable and unstable situations.
- People with beliefs contrary to the dominant country's religion are frequently condemned and found guilty for having a personal opinion and choice - this is a precious freedom Canadians are privileged to have. Anybody suspected of being a threat to the authorities, rebel groups, or the government are treated as convicts and punished accordingly as a result of fear, insecurity and lack of tacful communication between the communities.
- Almost all Middle Eastern countries such as Iran, Eqypt, Israel, Yemen, Kuwait, Palestine, Afghanistan, and Iraq have varying degrees of breaching human and religious freedom rights.
- Considered to be a genocide of Christians, with threats and torture (bbc website).
