Dear Apple,
Please remove ‘The Boyfriend Trainer’ app from the Apple iTunes App Store.
According to App Store guidelines:
15.2 Apps that depict violence or abuse of children will be rejected.
15.4 Apps involving realistic depictions of weapons in such a way as to encourage illegal or reckless use of such weapons will be rejected.
The blatant promotion of unhealthy relationships aside, the app supports a value that in order to get one’s point across, weapons and violence are the only answer. The app goes so far as to require a sufficient amount of abuse be administered before proceeding to the next level, the worse the abuse the better.
“Crack that whip and teach your guy a thing or two about being the Perfect Boyfriend! When scolding doesn’t work, just zap him, whack him and train him to be your ideal man!”
Cracking whips, zapping and whacking him is not only wrong, it’s abusive and violent.
Please live up to the standards you put forth and remove this abusive and violent app from the App Store today!
