Warning: Dioxane In Your Tap Water

Everyone that pays for public water should read their yearly Water Quality Report issued by their City of residence. If you cannot understand it, call the employee of your Water Department who compilated, comprised and printed it. I read mine for Tucson, Arizona 2008 and found that a known carcinogen 1,4 dioxane (cancer causing chemical) has been added to the public water supply for several years now. Why? I don't know but it is a poison that creates cancer. I called my city water company and as I spoke to the man who was responsible for the content of the report, I discovered he was as shocked as I was. Then he told me to contact the Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, DC but I need your help. We need and deserve clean quality water for the life and health of every cell in our body.
We, 'the undersigned', deserve quality tap water that is not poisoned with dangerous chemicals and hereby demand that investigations should be conducted in the cities and counties in which we live. And we have the right to know why the dumping of toxic chemicals is being allowed.
Environmental Protection Agency, We the undersigned are in strong support of the Clean Public Water Act for 2010. The carcinogen 1,4 dioxane has been reported as being in our public water supply per our yearly Water Quality Report. This is very distressing to know that we and our children are ingesting a known poison. In our opinion, to add this chemical to our tap water that we pay for is like issuing a slow death notice and charging us for it. We hope to take this to Capitol Hill legislation by the end of 2009.
