Equal punishment to fit the Crime!!

Instead of petitioning for funding for even more Technology in cars to stop Child Deaths, How about we Demand equal punishment to fit the crime. In some countries if you steal, they cut off your hand. WE ARE PROPOSING THAT IF YOU LEAVE YOUR CHILD TO DIE IN A HOT CAR, THEN YOUR FATE IS SEALED THE SAME WAY.  YOU WILL BE LOCKED IN A CARSEAT AND LEFT TO PERISH.
