Stop the use of illegally operated vehicles on Atlanta streets and parks.

Several hundred people on all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and dirt bikes were driving recklessly throughout Atlanta on Sunday 06.28.2015.

The activity began around noon with dozens of calls to 911 about the off-road vehicles blocking traffic, running through traffic lights, and cutting vehicles off on the roadway.

There is a video posted on social media (YouTube, Twitter, and IG), where you can see dozens of drivers blowing through a stoplight and trapping drivers in the intersection.

According to a news article read, Pittman Park was the scene of a large rally of approximately 150 ATVs and dirt bikes.

According to police, one rider stalled his ATV and when an officer attempted to apprehend him, he simply abandoned his ATV and jumped on the back of another ATV and sped away. While others taunted the police. There is also a video on social media that's shows a Atlanta
Police patrol vehicle being damaged by two males who ran up the vehicle and stomped and kicked the patrol vehicle. In this incident the patrol vehicle windshield was cracked, the police light bar on top of vehicle was damaged, and the vehicle was dented.

It is known that policemen and women are not favorable right now but this bike activity has hindered both law enforcement officials and citizens of peace and order within the community.
