Vote NO to the proposed Covered Docks in Tellico Village - Save the VIEW

A proposal is currently being researched to install approximately 50 covered boat slips at the Yacht Club and/or Tanasi basin. These covered docks will adversely impact the lake views from the Yacht Club House and the Tanasi Cove as well as the property values of the homes located in view of these structures. In addition, the POA is guaranteeing the loan for the project which will benefit only 50 households. I believe this proposal will not add value to the Village and will detract from the Village image. Adequate commercial properties are available close to the village and meet the need without adversely impacting the Village and the majority of its residents.
