Amend the school dress code now!

The dress code was enacted to decrease bullying and increase grades but there is no evidence that this was effective.

The dress code causes another added expense for parents and some can't afford the required items. It can be very expensive if your child is in an odd size. The dress code is also not uniformly enforced in all schools and with all children.

We the undersigned respectfully request changes in the dress code to include jeans and shirts/blouses without collars and any mid thigh or longer shorts. Children can dress in these items and look respectable.
