Remove the Columbus Statue from the city of New London

A local conservative radio celebrity, Lori Hopkins-Cavanaugh, has used the Columbus statue to launch anti-semitic attacks, and call the victims of genocide cannibals ,Columbus a warrior of Christ and the rest of us heathens and marxists.
She has already brought hate groups to the area to demonstrate.

It is time for decent people in our community to stand against the symbol of hatred that emboldens hatred in our community today.
