Allow for cross-platform gaming on PlayStation consoles

Almost every single console on the market right now allows for cross-platform play with games like Rocket League, Fortnite, Paladins, and many more. The only major company that doesn’t comply with the idea of cross-platform gaming is Sony with their PlayStation consoles. Although Sony may have their reasons for not allowing cross-platform, there are still many angry gamers out there who don’t agree. It’s disappointing and unfair when you own a PS4 and want to play a fun game with your friends, but you find out your friends own a PC, Xbox, or Nintendo console so they can’t play with you. This has happened to me and many other gamers many times and it needs to stop. The only way this problem can be fixed is if Sony allows for cross-platform play in future multiplayer games.
