Aluminum Hydroxide is known by the scientific community as causing dementia and there is evidence that it is a cause of Alzheimer's disease.
The European Food Safety Authority states that more than 11 mg per day of Aluminum in a person's diet puts them at risk for dementia, a symptom of Alzheimer's disease. A major source of Aluminum in the diet is antacids such as Mylanta which can contain thousands of miligrams of per dose and is suspected of causing dementia and Alzheimer's disease. However, it is projected  by the Alzheimers Association that Alzheimer's disease will generate $ 20 Trillion Dollars of Income over the next 40 years to the Alzheimer's Industry.
