Make Color Guard Day a National Holiday

  • mottagare: I am making this petition to make National Color Guard Day a holiday.
Many people know what a marching band is but who are the people that twirl flags and spin around? That is the color guard and they do way more than that. They pour that hearts, souls, blood, sweat, and tears into every performance and even practice. They toss 6 feet metal poles into the air and catch them. They catch heavy wooden rifles and long metal heavy sabers. They dance and leap and everything they do is so much harder than it looks. I know this first hand experience, I am in the color guard for my school and I know that all of this is more than true.
