Demand to Deny proposed local improvement - Road Construction and Paving on Pauls Cr.

Again the town is proposing to pave Pauls cr. and once again they are expecting the residents to pay 75% of the improvement on land they don't even own. The town feels that there is increased traffic which warrants this improvement. We feel that with it being a crescent, the only traffic is from residents and that there is no increase. Further to this, residents are expected to pay in full before Dec. 31 of THIS YEAR, or be subject to a 7% interest rate in the addition to their taxes for 7 years. For most residents of Pauls cr. this will be a bill of over $10,000 due this year, or an addition to their taxes of approx. $2000 for 7 years. By signing this petition, we will ensure our already inflated taxes don't become higher.
