Do not support SB 106/HB 81 that would hurt local, small businesses

I am writing you today to ask you to please oppose Senate Bill 106 by Senator Anitere Flores and House Bill 81 by Representative Bryan Avila that would let out-of-state companies, like Wal-Mart and Target, sell liquor inside stores in the same area that groceries and other goods are sold.

As a small business owner here in Florida, I would hope our state's leaders, who have been elected by us to represent us, would hold our interests above large, out-of-state corporations.

I truly believe there is no real need for this legislation. It will not only negatively impact my local business, but numerous businesses across the Sunshine State. Please do not support this legislation that would hurt our local, small businesses.
