resignation and reelection
This non profit was changing our community and making a huge difference in peoples lives. Then all of the sudden the board of 4 voted to suspend the founder of Growing Food Forward. After accusing her of stilling money and putting her through a gruelling criminal investigation to be found incident, the founder was then let go. This was all in tactic to take over a well built organization someone else put together and still the show. During this time the board made multiple public accusations about the founder and made it hard for her to work anywhere. They were able to convince many social media sites to take down all of the founder's accounts. After many months of not being able to work and on the verge of starving she was finally found innocent of the charges she was accused of. She now is able to start working again and has asked that the current board resign and post a 30 day election to put a more competent board in place. This can only happen if the community speaks out against them and requires the board to resign and reelecte.
