URGENT: Oppose the Cell Tower at Clovis Christian Church 1701 Locan Ave

Sprint wants to erect a brand new 75 ft. cell tower at the church which is only approximately 550 ft. away from Red Bank School campus where 796 students attend. In zip code area 93612, there are around 200 towers, (50 registered/150 not registered) and 229 antennas. *

Please sign this petition to oppose the building of the cell tower in this location and in future locations like this in R1 neighborhoods. We have until Monday, 10/15 to gather all materials to contest this effort, specifically, this petition and any correspondence sent to the City of Clovis and the Clovis Christian Church.

2) Oppose cell towers in R-1 residential neighborhoods.

3) Oppose cell towers anywhere near schools, churches, & parks.

4) Oppose the cell tower aesthetics. It doesn't look good or fit in with the environment and character of the neighborhood.

5) Are concerned about the devaluation of real estate. Average home value drops 4-40% if a cell tower is in the area.

6) Tell them fears of EMF and potential increase likelihood of people getting cancer and the concern you have for our children and residents

7) Tell them we want stricter wireless ordinances for our city that will protect our homes, schools and parks from cell towers

8) Tell them we are concerned regarding the environmental protection of our community including the ponding basin adjacent to the church less than 125 feet from the tower which puts several migratory birds on the PROTECTED BY THE MIGRATORY BIRD TREATY ACT in jeopardy and preserving the walking and bike pathways that are less than 50 feet from the proposed tower
