On the fateful evening of August 29th, 1998, Tool played an historic, sold out show at the Santa Barbara Bowl. By all rumors, eye witness accounts, and 3rd person recantations, the boys got a little frisky with their set, playing past the mandatory 11pm curfew. They paid the fine(rumor has it at about 10k), and were subsequently banned from performing at the Santa Barbara Bowl for life! This was 20 years ago this coming August 29th! Change must come to the county of Santa Barbara. Tool has paid the price, done the time. With a new album coming in 2019, it's time for Tool to come home to SB, raise some consciousness, rock the land between stars, mountains and ocean. The Goucho must be allowed to enjoy the psychedelic prog rock. We, the men of FOOL, a Tribute to Tool, believe the Santa Barbara County deserves our heros...reinstated in full glory.
