Save the Hay Statues in Victoria Park

Erno Bartha's hay statues from Victoria Park lake won the national artists competition to represent Romania for the 2012 Olympic Games. They were brought to Victoria Park for a display after the games finished. They remained there for the last 7 years becoming part of the parks landscape.
The hay statues were meant to be temporary installation, therefore were not treated for a long term display as it happened. At the moment the statues are in desperate need of major restoration work.
Neither the park nor the Cultural Centre that brought them there have any funds to do any restoration work.
The park said they'll decommission the display rather than do maintenance work.
The artist prepared a special silicone and hay combination to prepare the works for long term display and he'll donate the works to the park if we send the statues back for restoration works.
