Petition to Put West Longview Annexation to Public Vote

Location: Longview, WA

Longview is going to automatically annex the West Longview. The proposed area is not located within the city limits and is along the Ocean Beach Highway corridor between 40th Avenue and 52nd Avenue. This should be voted on by the people being affected, not automatically passed. There are fees, taxes and rights that will be effected by this annexation. As part of the city, you will be required to pay:

1. Storm water
2. 9 % utility tax
3. Tax on cable TV and telephone
4. City car tab fee - per vehicle
5. Pet license for dogs
6. Rights and uses of your property will be dictated by city law.
