Rename Texas State Highway FM 150 to The William B. Travis Trail

Hays County should recognize William B. Travis of Alamo hero fame, as their prodigal son. State Highway FM 150 between Ranch Road 12 and FM 3237 should be renamed the Wm. B. Travis Trail since that road bisects Travis' original 1835 colonial land grant of one league of land (4,428 acres) in Hays County.

This sacred property is the reason Travis sacrificed his life during the Battle of the Alamo.

We citizens support the William B. Travis Trail be named immediately.
