Salem Police Department. Keep Salem safe

The city of Salem is trying to eliminate one of their most productive units on the Police Department. As a Salem resident, I value our safety and economy. The Special Response unit targets big time drug dealers and professional thieves. Due to their training and ability to work as a team they are more successful than those working as patrolman.
It is important the city keeps this unit on, to keep the drug dealers away from our friends, our family and our city. Keep the mom and pop shops flowing with business and to help keep the crime rate low.

With the surplus of herion and opiates that has effected at least one person we all know, in Salem and in towns all around us it is imperative we can this unit in and working to continue to help the community.
