Improper I use of tax accessment.

In 1981 Sunland Park ( 200 homes) in Saratoga California was annexed into the city of Saratoga per our request. As part of the agreement a special accessment was agreed upon through our property tax to up grade and maintain a walking path on the border of Sunland Park. The maintenance is managed by the city paid for by all 200 residents (approx. $20k per year) I have personally met with the city on 4 occasions regarding this matter to discuss the fact that is not being maintained per the contract and over the years has become an eye sore and a cash cow for the city. I have all the records of contract and billing over the last 5 years and it is evident we are being taken advantage of. The solution is we have input going forward and the city takes financial responsibility to upgrade this area to bring it up to the standard we deem acceptable..
