Push Back Colorado Christian University Class of 2020 Physical Commencement

With COVID-19 uprooting our lives in 2020, I think the class of 2020 at CCU desires some stability in the form of a physical commencement ceremony. This can be held in late summer or early fall, whenever COVID-19 is under control. According to Dr. Fauci, the apex of the outbreak will occur in the coming weeks, so we should keep pushing back the date of commencement until the outbreak dissolves. Many of the students I have talked to want the real ceremony, not an attempt at an online version. Even if some students do not want to have a commencement later in the summer, I do not think they would participate in the online version either. Therefore, there is no point of pushing for the online commencement.
