Reject the proposed changes to the Oadby school system

We, the undersigned, call on the Governors of Gartree High School, Manor High School and Beauchamp College of Oadby, Leicestershire to withdraw their current proposals for age-range changes. If change is to happen, we call on them to issue a coherent, collaborative child-centred proposal that includes:
• Evidence that changes will improve the excellent education already delivered by the Oadby system;
• An honest examination of the benefits of our 3-tier system and what would be lost;
• Maintaining levels of local access to sixth-form places;
• Detailed costs, sources of funding and justification of these costs to taxpayers;
• Impact assessment of increased traffic and how that will be managed
