Justice for Man Beaten on Stretcher!

Four New York Police Department officers physically assaulted a man being carried on a stretcher who was in both handcuffs and foot shackles. The officers punched the patient in the face, pulled him off the stretcher and slammed him to the ground, and then slammed him back onto the stretcher, all because the patient was cursing at the officers.

The emergency medical technicians who witnessed this, and filed a report to the Fire Department of New York, had to stop the beating. The EMTs were called to a Brooklyn police precinct and asked to bring him to a hospital -- he was banging his head against a wall and was obviously emotionally disturbed. In the ambulance, he was treated for head and neck injuries that were a result of the beating.

Please tell the New York Police Department to investigate this incident and make sure another patient is never physically assaulted or otherwise harmed by police again.

Dear New York Police Department,

Recently, two EMTs witnessed four NYPD police officers beating a man on a stretcher while he was in foot shackles and handcuffs because he cursed at the officers. Obviously restrained, he posed no threat to the officers and there was no reason to respond with physical violence.

The officers punched him in the face repeatedly and pulled him off the stretcher and slammed him to the ground. The man was already described as being emotionally disturbed and was banging his head against a wall before EMTs were called to a Brooklyn police precinct.

Please investigate this and make sure no one ever suffers like this again.
