Change The Tattoo Policy At Hooters!

I love my job as a Hooters Girl, but the one rule i don’t understand is why we have to cover our tattoos to work. I understand the principle of “professionalism” but let’s be honest…it’s Hooters! We walk around half dressed but can’t even show off our individualism and creativity. Customers sit with me every day and question why we have to cover them up, and I have no real answer for them. Our managers don’t have to cover them, and corporate stores allow tattoos to be uncovered. I think as long as they aren’t obscene or offensive, we should be able to wear our tattoos! It’s a waste of product, money, and time for the girls who have big / many tattoos, not to mention all the customers who’ve shared our frustrations, and assured us that tattoos add a personal flair to their server. All in all, Im sick of this rule and so is everyone else. Help me make a change!
