Detroit has one of the largest Arab populations outside the Middle East, but DTW only has two non-stops per *WEEK* to the Middle East. Dubai is becoming one of the world's largest hubs and Dubai-based Emirates Air will soon be the largest airline in the world. Shouldn't Detroit have non-stop service to the hub of the Middle East? Help us convince airlines like Delta or Emirates to fly DTW-Dubai non-stop.
Detroit's largest unserved market is India with 250 passengers flying back and forth between each day. Dubai has service to 17 destinations in India.

UPDATE OCTOBER 2013: Partly as a result of this petition, Detroit will gain Emirates service to Dubai via Boston in cooperation with JetBlue. Obviously, we want this to evolve into non-stop service to Dubai, but this is a great first step.
