Posthumously award Robin Williams the "Mark Twain Prize for American Humor"

Ever since 1998, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts have awarded an American comedian every year, with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Robin Williams was one of the greatest comedians of all time. Even though the prize has never been awarded posthumously, if anyone is eligible to recieve the honour after his/her death, its Robin Williams.

An epitome of American humour, Robin Williams was an active comedian ever since 1977 till his unfortunate death in the August of 2014. An award that has been awarded to less influential and mediocre recipients (Bill Cosby, Jay Leno), deserves to be given to this admirable personality.

So I urge the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, to at least consider giving the award to Robin Williams.
