Xfinity, Comcast Home Internet Monopoly

I believe that Xfinity, or Comcast, has a monopoly in the local and surrounding areas of Appalachia, Virginia, for home internet services. I have no other provider for a standard quality of home internet available to choose from. Since Xfinity is the only provider, price gouging has and is occurring, and I have no choice to switch to another competing offer. I want the issue to be investigated and resolved, as well as those that may be responsible or contributing to the monopoly to be held accountable.
