FREE TIMOTHY RUSTIGE

The continued incarceration of Timothy "Rusty" Rustige, prisoner number 134031 at HMP Barlinnie, is an affront to justice. He is a prisoner of conscience, a journalist speaking out against the long standing child abuse case of Hollie Greig and subsequent cover up.

He should have been released 3rd June 2014 but unfortunately, due to a riot within the prison (HMP Peterhead), his tag-release process was disrupted through no fault of his own.

Having suffered a stroke in 2012 he is in very poor health and is rapidly losing weight due to an inadequate diet. 

We ask for his release with immediate effect.                   

THANK YOU TO EACH AND EVERYONE. HOW APT THAT RUSTY SHOULD BE RELEASED ON 4TH JULY, INDEPENDENCE DAY. WE MUST NEVER FORGET IT IS OUR HUMAN RIGHT TO HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH. FEW HAVE THE COURAGE TO SPEAK OUT, LET US PAY TRIBUTE TO THOSE THAT DO:   TO RUSTY AND THOSE THAT PRECEDED HIM AND THOSE THAT WILL FOLLOW.
