You Can't Say Climate Change Is Real and Refuse to Do Anything, White House

We're so used to the White House being filled with climate change deniers that a recent environmental impact report was pretty shocking: It used honest science about the trajectory of our planet (the average temperature may be about 7 degrees higher by 2100) and then concluded we're so screwed by climate change that taking action is useless.

Really?! This administration has some nerve to act like the science isn't sufficient to take action on climate change, then suddenly switch to a position that the science is so dire that taking action will do next to nothing.

No doubt, some impending consequences of climate change are unavoidable following so much inaction, but that's no excuse not to try to mitigate the damage by intervening now. If this administration can finally acknowledge the science points to major threats, it's imperative to act — both immediately and strongly.

Hence, we, the people of the U.S. and the world demand that the White House make meaningful environmental action NOW.
