We, the signed fans of Supernatural, support Destiel, the relationship between Dean Winchester and Castiel. While we respect the rights of others to have differing opinions from our own, including the cast and crew, we still feel very strongly about this relationship and would like to see more interaction on screen.
There have been billions of words written across the Internet on platforms such as Tumblr, Livejournal, and Twitter to express the profound meaning of this relationship and the affect that it's had on us. It's affected thousands of people very deeply. The ship is a phenomenon that has inspired numerous hashtags with thousands of tweets, multiple campaigns (such as this very petition), and has attracted attention from mainstream press such as TV Guide, OK Magazine, and the Independent. The relationship is inspirational, powerful, and has already made a huge impact in pop culture.
By signing this petition we are showing our support for that relationship and hope that those in charge of the show recognize how important it is to us.
