School uniforms should be abolished and a dress code should be brought back.

School uniforms take away from students freedom to express themselves and be who they are. If we force uniforms on our students we will raise them in a society that say "who you are is wrong and we don't want to see it." Students deserve the chance to be themselves there not adults there kids, there not at a job there in school. In most schools with uniforms the teachers have more freedom to dress then the students do and there the ones at work this is unfair and unjustified. We traded one extreme for another. there is a in between schools just got lazy and did not want to enforce the dresscode.
