Petition to Erect King George Statue to Honor Our History

Recent events and protests in different states have made me realize how important it is to respect and honor our country's history, and how erasing that history is a fear at the forefront many of our citizens's minds. I don't want the great State of Georgia to forget its founding father and earliest political establishments. That's why I'm starting this petition to erect a statue to my State's namesake, King George II. Some may reject this idea because it offends them or because he represents an era in our history of hardship and tyranny through foreign control, but being offended by history doesn't change it. If we could get this statue erected at the capitol building in Atlanta that would be appropriate. God Save the King!!
