Bring back google maps on the iphone

Mapping software nowadays is a key function for users of software from getting to appointments on time, finding businesses/shops on the go, relying on it to get your bearings when a person is lost to locating your dog's sat nav collar.  For Apple to release such an important piece of software that is so flawed is a betrayal for all the Apple users who have remained loyal to this company.   This software is too important to release the equivalent of a Beta or open source version to be updated and molded by users.  It is damaging to business and dangerous when used by road users.  Apple approve Google's app or bring back Google Maps until you have something that is competitive and fit for purpose.
