Child safety on B st

I, plus other families, have small children who live between Alhambra Blvd and 33rd on B st. Because the state controllers office is at the end of B and C st and 33rd, most cars going there drive way too fast getting to and from work. It is unsafe for the children to even be in the front with those drivers rushing to their offices.
I would like to petition to either have a “children at play” sign, or even better, a speed bump on B st.
There is also a Buddhist temple that we and the other children’s families attend between 32nd and 33rd on B st that has many members going to and from at all times of the day.
Our Lama, the spiritual director, has also offered to help petition for these things.
