Demand an end to unhealthy conditions in migrant center now!

Migrant centers around the country provide horrible conditions for the children who are put in them. They are forced to sleep on concrete floors with aluminum blankets. They are held in cages similar to that of dog pounds. People have described these centers as the "neighborhood batting cage and animal shelter." These conditions are simply inhumane and not healthy for the children to be living in. There is a desperate need for change and it starts here. We demand that children are given twin size mattresses along with actual blankets. Portable toilets must be cleaned daily to prevent infection and other disease from being passed around. Cages must be taken down to relieve children of stress and allow them to feel comfortable.
