Let Northern Burlington Seniors decorate their grad caps

This year at NB we purchased our caps and gowns, meaning they are ours to keep. Numerous students decorated their caps with beautiful gems, inspirational quotes and where they are going to college but now we are being told that we will not walk at graduation with decorated caps or we will not have a cap at graduation. I understand the concern if we had rented the caps and gowns but they are ours to keep so I believe we should be able to do what we want with them. Please support if you believe that we should be allowed to keep our decorated caps and that administration can check all the decorated caps for inappropriate content. We did not spend 4 years in hs to not walk at graduation over a cap that has glitter on it.
