Okay Painted Sky neighbors! We will have an official petition out this weekend ready to sign. There is a plot available to the neighborhood. Also there is $50,000 in parks and recreational grants that this neighborhood qualifies for. This is great news! That means we have resources for a park! The only thing left is for all of us to rally together and communicate to the board that we want to move forward. My goal is to get as many signitures as possible by next week. Talk to your spouses, next door neighbors, brothers, sister, parents, come support this project.
********* Reason for Petition ***************************** Our children and fellow neighbors need to have a place where they can experience nature and play outdoors. A place for community events, private celebrations, play groups, and a place for neighbors to congregate and have social interaction. This helps improve our community standards and raises the value of our neighborhood as a whole. Not only was our neighborhood promised a park during development, this neighborhood also deserves one.
