Tell teachers to Vote NO for the union at ChiArts!

On February 8, a group of ChiArts teachers made public their desire to form an union at the school. Their right to organize arrived almost coincidentally with the formation of a Student Union. The administration showed full support to the students as they caved the impact of racism at our school.  

The organizers found direct support from Chicago Acts an union that primarily serves charter schools teachers. Due to the merging of the mentioned with CTU teachers at ChiArts are deeply concerned with loosing autonomy over our important decisions at our school. Loose already tight funding that would ensure the sustainability of the arts and employment of Conservatory teachers and lastly loosing our student voices and contributions in making a just and fair school for generations to come.
