This lead to financial difficulties for the company, and resulted in layoffs. The company can no longer afford the hike in minimum wage, so StarTek agreed to close down the Grand Junction, Colorado location. However, not only are the employees affected, hundreds of SpectrAlert Advances, a fire alarm, will be cruelly left to suffer and could also possibly face death.
