Prosecute Deputy Who Pulled a Gun on a Pregnant Woman!

  • av: Care2 Team

Nicole Thurmond was one week from her due date and was checking out at a Walmart in the express lane. Her husband, Jason Thurmond, went to get eggs. At that point, Craig French, an off-duty deputy, started acting very hostile towards her, asking if she knew how to count, telling her that she was holding up the line, and then later asked if they were on welfare.

When Jason got back, French was in Nicole's face, screaming at her, and he came towards Jason aggressively. Thurmond pushed him away to protect his wife, and then French pulled out a gun and started waving it around.

Jason Thurmond was arrested and charged with misdemeanor battery for pushing French out of the way.

Please tell the Kendall County Sheriff's Department to prosecute Craig French, and drop all charges against Jason Thurmond. Thurmond was simply defending his wife and their baby, while French was abusing his power and acting hostile for no apparent reason. These people could have been seriously hurt, and if something isn't done, French could really hurt someone else.

Please prosecute Craig French, who pulled a gun on a pregnant woman at a Walmart for no apparent reason, and drop all charges against Jason Thurmond, who shoved French out of the way to protect his wife. Do what is right -- these people could have been seriously injured, and if French isn't prosecuted, he could hurt someone else.
