Equal rights among parents

    The legal system is set up so that the mother has rights through birth but fathers have to petition for rights even after DNA has been determined this is a one sided injustice. Men are as equally capable of taking care of their children but have to fight harder than the mother to stay apart of their child's life. We need to end the gender bias in family court so that the best interests of the children are actually met as too many times the inequality leads to an abuse of the system.
