Petition to reduce or waive citation ST-45971from Nevada State Board of Cosmetology

I created my social media page after being strongly encouraged by The Aveda Institute, to bring in more clients while we were in school. We were told in multiple seminars the more people we brought into the school the more practice we would have and the more clientele we would have in our future career. What we were never informed on, was that our wording on our social media could cause us to get fined $1,000 and left without being able to get our license and out of work. I believe that the institute needs to include in their curriculum more about state board regulations and how it can affect them in the future.
