Fight Against The Transgender Military Ban!

Trump has declared a ban against transgender people joining the military. He explained that it was a "financial issue" explaining that we, as a nation, could not afford them. I see where he might be coming from, however, he is also discriminating those who have no desire to transition or already have. What extra costs does that put on them?
