Demand that AEP be banned on cut off notices from November to April

    I live in Boissevain,Va.
December my power was cut off because of not having enough money to pay on the Electric Bill. Granted I was on a payment plan with Appalachian Power, On the 9th of Dec. The 18th we had an Arctic Blast come through these Appalachian Mts with snow and temperatures below negative 8 degrees. I had frost bite on my fingers and toes on my one foot. MY wife has Multiple Sclerosis and has shot that have to stay refrigerated, these shots are Glatopa and cost $2800 a shot, 24 a month she takes.
all but $17 was paid on the payment plan. January I paid $1350 to get it back on.This left $313.46 on the old Bill, with a new payment plan of $281 a month. February they cut my power off again! saying that it was because of that $313.46. well it took me a week to get paid , so I stayed in contact the whole week. Got paid they closed the account which made me have to open a new one again and pay $695 dollars with another security deposit of $150.
Now for the kicker in Lebanon,Va. AEP cut a Family's power off in December. They had a 8 month old baby that was on LIfe Support System. The mother fell to her knee bagging and pleading with the serviceman not to cut the power off because of this child. So, the man called Central and talked to them pleading this family's needs. The Supervisor told the worker that if he value his job and his Family's security he better cut the power. The next day this infant died, his battery back up failed in the middle of the night. SO in my opinion they should not be allowed to turn people's power off in between these months November until April.
