1) The man WANTS to be a Mets
2) The man can HIT
3) If we would give him 3 years, we should be willing to give him 5. Why? Cespedes should play well as a RF. Granderson is off the books after 2 years. If they are willing to do 3, meaning 2 years of subpar CF play, then 5 should be fine.
4) This is NEW YORK. We fans don't pay premiums for nothing! Let that payroll rise!
