Today i was driving through Frederick county on the way home from work and on my way out i saw that their is a big confederate flag next to the county welcome sign. This needs to be changed IMMEDIATELY because it is intolerable that in 2020 people are still allowed to put that flag up legally, and it is an overall disgusting look on what i once thought was a beautiful state. Also, given the racist and confederate history this state has, I think it is imperative that Governor Ralph Northam has these flags removed as quick as possible. I am also calling for whoever is responsible for putting these flags up to be arrested for openly supporting not only racism, but treason and insurgence against the U.S. government. Finally, along with this, I want our governor to conduct an investigation throughout the state to find any more confederate flags put up on public signs and property while condemning the racists responsible.
