Refugees are Welcome

In a shameful abdication of U.S. leadership, the Administration proposed setting next year’s refugee admissions cap at just 18,000, the lowest in the forty-year history of the resettlement program. He also signed a new executive order that will allow states and municipalities to veto refugee resettlement in their states and communities. The latest in a series of attempts to dismantle the refugee resettlement program, this executive order is a state-by-state, city-by-city refugee ban. I am asking Governor Bill Lee to publicly support refugee resettlement in TN through a statement and or social media.
