How does bright hair affect a child's ability to learn?

My school just like most schools don't allow colored hair in a costume nature. Most students would like to express their individuality by making themselves appear the way they want. However, some think that dyed hair can become a distraction and that it's unprofessional.
And they're right! It would be distracting at FIRST because it's new but that doesn't mean it will decrease grades, change students into rebels, etc. All it means is the same as dying your hair from blonde to brown.
I want to go to school my SEN18R YEAR with the colored hair I would prefer. However, I need your help by signing this petition and passing it on to your friends to hopefully end the issue with dyed hair.
