Sign this petition to help end overcrowding at Cornelia F. Bradford PS16, Jersey City, NJ

THE PROBLEM: PS16 (Jersey City, NJ) first grade classrooms are experiencing extreme overcrowding with a 34:1 student to teacher ratio with an assistant that floats between 2 classrooms. There is no way 1 teacher can give the needed attention to 34 kids.

THE SOLUTION: As an immediate solution I propose to create an additional classroom with a new teacher hire, and split up the classrooms into a more acceptable 22:1 ratio.
